Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Felippe Mineiro got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Ennu Nurmik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 3 minutes of play, Mexilhão F. C.'s Felippe Mineiro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tom Are was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hristo Botev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Marcelinho Matorin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hristo Botev got free with Marcelinho Matorin in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the game, Hristo Botev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marcelinho Matorin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Toomas Lasso's late challenge caught a Mexilhão F. C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toomas Lasso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Dundee's Toomas Lasso got a free kick in the 17th minute. Toomas Lasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 played minutes Mexilhão F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Romero. Pudes Figueres hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Marcelinho Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hristo Botev in the 34th minute of the match. Marcelinho Matorin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hristo Botev in the 35th minute. After 38 minutes of play, FC Dundee's Toomas Lasso made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelinho Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Mexilhão F. C. booed when FC Dundee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Mendoza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Dundee's Hristo Botev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelinho Matorin. That made the score 4-1 after 46 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hristo Botev made a kick off. After 55 minutes of play, FC Dundee's Hristo Botev made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelinho Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcelinho Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hristo Botev in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Hristo Botev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelinho Matorin. Mexilhão F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hristo Botev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Marcelinho Matorin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hristo Botev went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Mexilhão F. C.'s Nelsinho Dantas got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute FC Dundee were awarded a corner. Toomas Lasso went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 75th minute Toomas Lasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toomas Lasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Marcelinho Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC Dundee fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when FC Dundee's Hristo Botev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 86 minutes into the game, Hristo Botev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Marcelinho Matorin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hristo Botev scored 10-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelinho Matorin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Marcelinho Matorin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hristo Botev came free, but Marcelinho Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mexilhão F. C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Dundee.
