Ruy Lara's late challenge caught a Prensadito Fulbo Clu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruy Lara helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MelissaMel booed when Prensadito Fulbo Clu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Beltxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Raí Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute, Ruy Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raí Schmidt scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celedonio Lobo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raí Schmidt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celedonio Lobo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The throw-in from Atilano Domeka in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MelissaMel's Anderson Fonseca. When MelissaMel's Ruy Lara in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Prensadito Fulbo Clu's goalie prevented a goal. Carlinhos Pinho made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Danilo Bermudez sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, MelissaMel's Juninho Neto got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 28th match minute, Prensadito Fulbo Clu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Odon to maneuver through the defense. When Ruy Lara came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the MelissaMel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruy Lara couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Raí Schmidt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celedonio Lobo. Prensadito Fulbo Clu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raí Schmidt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 43 minutes of play, MelissaMel's Ruy Lara made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celedonio Lobo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celedonio Lobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raí Schmidt in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danilo Bermudez made a kick off. Carlinhos Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Ladio, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 57th minute, Pascual Ladio made a precise shot to the right of Carlinhos Pinho. MelissaMel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Bermudez in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlinhos Pinho saved MelissaMel from getting behind. With an all-out effort, MelissaMel's Celedonio Lobo threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Raí Schmidt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 65th minute of the match MelissaMel got a corner. Prensadito Fulbo Clu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valério de Azevedo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Atilano Domeka charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atilano Domeka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valério de Azevedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Celedonio Lobo. Prensadito Fulbo Clu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carlinhos Pinho came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Prensadito Fulbo Clu's Danilo Bermudez. But to his dismay, Danilo Bermudez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Raí Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Lobo having to interfere.
