Saco FC's Jannich Brolyng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Montes in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes, Siegmund Milow mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saco FC and the 1947 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jannich Brolyng showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Saco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Bonachea came free, but Jannich Brolyng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nico Bonachea in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jannich Brolyng saved Saco FC from getting behind. 1947 FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
