Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fernando Joey made the kick off which started today's match. Alex Sarmento was a little too slow when Fernando Joey got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 7th match minute, Boulogne F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Cai to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Noel da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Sarmento made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Serafino Gutierrez sent off a good shot on target. Noel da Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noel da Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SRP-Laguna getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Noel da Costa hit a great ball. Alex Sarmento came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Boulogne F.C.'s Victorino Garci. But to his dismay, Victorino Garci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 24th minute, Serafino Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If João Francisco Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, Victorino Garci dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alex Sarmento, 3-0. The audience was convinced that Paolo Selatse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Sarmento was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 45th match minute, Boulogne F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Chumo to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nilmar do Nascimento was the one to do the kick off. SRP-Laguna's Alex Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Joey in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noel da Costa got free with Teodosio Macerio in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th match minute, SRP-Laguna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Sena to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Melquiades Tabor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Sarmento showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nilmar do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Teodosio Macerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nilmar do Nascimento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teodosio Macerio came out and tried to block the shot, but Nilmar do Nascimento slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richárd Richards got free with Teodosio Macerio in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alex Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Joey in the 69th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Chicão Tepedino took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Teodosio Macerio to make any attempt to save it. In the 73rd match minute, SRP-Laguna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Sena to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Gutierrez in the 75th minute of play forced SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Alex Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Francisco Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boulogne F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodosio Macerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anísio Sena got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 89 played minutes SRP-Laguna got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Sena. Alex Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Joey in the 92nd minute of the match. SRP-Laguna's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
