After some careless play in the Palermo AFC defense, Osvaldo Goren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingo Serafo. The Palermo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingo Serafo should have stopped the shot. Palermo AFC's Domingo Serafo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Polentzi in the 33rd minute of play. Pedro Orlondon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelino Polentzi in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Palermo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Goren came free, but Domingo Serafo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the 1947 FC defense, Florencio Fix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Orlondon. The 1947 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Orlondon should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Fix was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Orlondon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Polentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1947 FC's Pedro Orlondon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Polentzi in the 60th minute of play. Florencio Fix took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Orlondon. Pedro Orlondon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Palermo AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
