Mattias Pihlgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tolek Solarek's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tolek Solarek in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mattias Pihlgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The FC Bemowo fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when FC Bemowo's Tolek Solarek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Adam Matysek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Pettersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Oldham Athletic's Mattias Pihlgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Oldham Athletic from getting a goal against them. Tolek Solarek did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Mattias Pihlgren 31 minutes into the match. Tolek Solarek took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mattias Pihlgren. Mattias Pihlgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolek Solarek in the 52nd minute of play forced Oldham Athletic's goalkeeper Mattias Pihlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Jonsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Adam Matysek made a huge save. FC Bemowo's Adam Matysek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Pettersson in the 56th minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oldham Athletic reached it. The Mattias Pihlgren was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Mattias Pihlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolek Solarek in the 93rd minute of the match. Ingvar Bollström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Adam Matysek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Oldham Athletic players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Bemowo.
