Arnaldo Carioca hit a great ball. When Yuri Terra fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sandinense ADF's protests and gave Yuri Terra a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Sandinense ADF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Terra to maneuver through the defense. Alfredão de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano do Nascimento in the 39th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adriano do Nascimento during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Toa Toa 4EVER getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Adriano do Nascimento hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the game, Gildo Valle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandinense ADF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toa Toa 4EVER the free kick. In the 41st minute, Gildo Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Fábio Sergipano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredão de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Egídio Vale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adriano do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Toa Toa 4EVER's Adriano do Nascimento dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Alfredão de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano do Nascimento in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Diego Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tarcio Bulisani came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Sandinense ADF's Yuri Terra. But to his dismay, Yuri Terra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 78 minutes into the match, Sandinense ADF's goal looked a bit too open when André Koehler came free, but Alfredão de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Régis de Alcântara during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sandinense ADF's Alfredão de Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Sandinense ADF from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Toa Toa 4EVER's André Koehler dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 95th minute, Luís Fábio Sergipano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 96 minutes of play Sandinense ADF's Gildo Valle was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Toa Toa 4EVER booed when Sandinense ADF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gildo Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Sandinense ADF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Toa Toa 4EVER were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
