Endrick Fenomeno was slow to take the kick. During this time Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Endrick Fenomeno got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mattias Pihlgren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 38th minute Artur Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Pihlgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oldham Athletic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Casa Real de Savóia F.C. the free kick. Oscar Bäcklin hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Oldham Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Brasil came free, but Mattias Pihlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oldham Athletic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artur Brasil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 94th minute Endrick Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Pihlgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 minutes Oldham Athletic's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Endrick Fenomeno who took care of the corner kick. Casa Real de Savóia F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Oldham Athletic for a fine match.
