Spectators: 7665 (Terracing: 5750, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Galin Hadzhiyski got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvin Engman in the 4th minute of play forced Cup2's goalkeeper Levent Trasiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC Wingspan's Tobias Göransson got control of the ball when Galin Hadzhiyski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th minute, Bocho Maystorov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th match minute, FC Wingspan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvin Engman to maneuver through the defense. After 13 minutes, Peter Pilblad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Wingspan and the Cup2 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Wingspan getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Peter Pilblad hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes, Cup2's Galin Hadzhiyski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tobias Göransson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cup2 reached it. The supporters of FC Wingspan booed when Cup2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Peevski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per-Arne Sjöström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35th minute, Martin Ødegaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustav Stålman kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. FC Wingspan's Tobias Göransson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Wingspan from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genko Hristoforov in the 44th minute of play forced FC Wingspan's goalkeeper Tobias Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jocke Nilsson's late challenge caught a Cup2's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jocke Nilsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes FC Wingspan got a freekick which was hit by Jocke Nilsson. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jocke Nilsson to make the kick off. Tobias Göransson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Ødegaard went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. FC Wingspan's Tobias Göransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genko Hristoforov in the 55th minute of play. If Bocho Maystorov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, FC Wingspan's goal looked a bit too open when Galin Hadzhiyski came free, but Tobias Göransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Göransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bocho Maystorov in the 68th minute of the match. Jens-Erik Åström hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Galin Hadzhiyski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cup2's supporters rose to their feet, but Galin Hadzhiyski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Göransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Levent Trasiev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvin Engman in the 74th minute of play. Tobias Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genko Hristoforov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Per-Arne Sjöström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aleko Merdzhanov charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aleko Merdzhanov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cup2 getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Aleko Merdzhanov hit a great ball. FC Wingspan's Tobias Göransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bocho Maystorov in the 82nd minute of play. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Wingspan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Galin Hadzhiyski was slow to take the kick. During this time Cup2's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Martin Ødegaard managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. FC Wingspan's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
