In the 7th match minute, Raureni Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilie Velicu to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Emanuel Vedholm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Călin Barbosu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Călin Barbosu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Lundqvist in the 18th minute of play. Sakarias Finnman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Călin Barbosu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Vedholm in the 23rd minute of the match. Călin Barbosu came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Med Gang FC's Eric Lundqvist. But to his dismay, Eric Lundqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Raureni Academy defense, Emanuel Vedholm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Călin Barbosu. The Raureni Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Călin Barbosu should have stopped the shot. Călin Barbosu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Vedholm in the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to Raureni Academy getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Călin Boldișor hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Lundqvist in the 35th minute of play forced Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Călin Barbosu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Călin Barbosu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Vedholm went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Călin Barbosu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Vedholm in the 41st minute of play. Zuberoa Bubber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Barbosu having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Călin Barbosu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Lundqvist in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Med Gang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cazimir Traian came free, but Nils-Erik Allbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Călin Barbosu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Vedholm in the 62nd minute. Călin Barbosu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakarias Finnman in the 64th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Vedholm got free with Călin Barbosu in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raureni Academy's Călin Barbosu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Lundqvist in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakarias Finnman in the 97th minute of play forced Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Călin Barbosu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Med Gang FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Raureni Academy throughout the match.
