Nicanor Araoz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Călin Barbosu having to make a save. After 22 minutes, Fabio Botello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cementerio Club and the Raureni Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raureni Academy's Călin Barbosu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 박 십 in the 24th minute of play. When Emilio Maureo fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cementerio Club's protests and gave Emilio Maureo a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Cementerio Club got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Maureo. An unexpectedly hard shot by 박 십 in the 30th minute of play forced Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Călin Barbosu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicanor Araoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Barbosu having to interfere. Charly García's late challenge caught a Raureni Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charly García helped the player get up and apologised. Clodoveo Donzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cazimir Traian in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Cementerio Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Gallardo to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Raureni Academy defense, Nicanor Araoz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Călin Barbosu. The Raureni Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Călin Barbosu should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cazimir Traian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabio Botello was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 59 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cementerio Club's Fabio Botello got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 66th minute Marin Puric shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Donzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Călin Barbosu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicanor Araoz went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Cementerio Club booed when Raureni Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petrică Tărău didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Benito Corderun fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicanor Araoz got free with Călin Barbosu in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Cesaro came free, but Călin Barbosu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Raureni Academy booed when Cementerio Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Corderun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clodoveo Donzel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marin Puric went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The Cementerio Club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
