Emil Zátopek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wieslaw Arendarski in the 7th minute of the match. Leonard Tomaszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harrison McCann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, Julian Sawicki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tarnów™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Internacional Pechofrío the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tarnów™'s Julian Sawicki got a free kick in the 15th minute. Harrison McCann struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Leonard Tomaszewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Internacional Pechofrío. Harrison McCann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonard Tomaszewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tarnów™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Orlandus Busto was slow to take the kick. During this time Internacional Pechofrío's players had a chance to rest. Emil Zátopek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Witomir Klejnowski in the 22nd minute. Emil Zátopek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Arendarski in the 23rd minute of play. Harrison McCann struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Leonard Tomaszewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Internacional Pechofrío. In the 34th minute, Tarnów™'s Witomir Klejnowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emil Zátopek. Emil Zátopek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Julian Sawicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute of the match, Witomir Klejnowski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emil Zátopek was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 45th minute, Aldo Sandianes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Witomir Klejnowski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emil Zátopek firmly grabbed it by the left post. Julian Sawicki was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Internacional Pechofrío booed when Tarnów™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Sawicki didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Venceslao Solares was the one to do the kick off. Emil Zátopek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Witomir Klejnowski went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Tarnów™'s Daniel Plachetka got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st match minute, Internacional Pechofrío was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venceslao Solares to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orlandus Busto during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Orlandus Busto hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Witomir Klejnowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarnów™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Witomir Klejnowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Zátopek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venceslao Solares hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Tarnów™ were the better team. Tarnów™'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
