Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Internacional Pechofrío's Harrison McCann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Harrison McCann made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Santa Margarita's Uriel Jerrald tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Venceslao Solares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 9 minutes, Harrison McCann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internacional Pechofrío's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harrison McCann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th match minute, Santa Margarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Eleder to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Internacional Pechofrío's Orlandus Busto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriel Jerrald narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Uriel Jerrald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venceslao Solares, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Internacional Pechofrío's Emil Zátopek got control of the ball when Gogo Gentza tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Hipolito Lugo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niceto Calvet charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niceto Calvet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 35 minutes into the game, Harrison McCann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Uriel Jerrald was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Uriel Jerrald came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Internacional Pechofrío's Harrison McCann. But to his dismay, Harrison McCann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Uriel Jerrald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harrison McCann in the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduardo Iztal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Iztal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Emil Zátopek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Internacional Pechofrío's Harrison McCann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uriel Jerrald made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Venceslao Solares kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Emil Zátopek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Calvet in the 66th minute of the match. Eliu Bellogin charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliu Bellogin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Internacional Pechofrío's Eliu Bellogin got a free kick in the 68th minute. Hermengildo Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Zátopek having to interfere. If Eliu Bellogin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute of the match Alberto Jacindo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emil Zátopek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Baldomero Berbiz fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santa Margarita's protests and gave Baldomero Berbiz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Santa Margarita's Baldomero Berbiz got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 83rd match minute, Santa Margarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Walme to maneuver through the defense. Eliu Bellogin hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the game, Venceslao Solares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Internacional Pechofrío's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Margarita the free kick. The Internacional Pechofrío supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Internacional Pechofrío would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
