Halit Tokgöz's late challenge caught a CD Suscal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Halit Tokgöz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Halit Tokgöz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Çeliker Barbaros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Obarenes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Hamdi Sarphan in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, CD Suscal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Figueroa Ebro to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Vedat Arabacıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Obarenes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, CD Suscal's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Hamdi Sarphan came free, but Alfonso Obarenes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çeliker Barbaros in the 28th minute of play forced CD Suscal's goalkeeper Alfonso Obarenes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Obarenes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şeref Onatkan in the 29th minute of play. Bornova's Halit Tokgöz got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. The referee ordered Halit Tokgöz off the ground. After 33 played minutes Bornova got a freekick which was hit by Halit Tokgöz. Ubaldo Argaez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerim Sav having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çeliker Barbaros in the 41st minute of play forced CD Suscal's goalkeeper Alfonso Obarenes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Obarenes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergen Tanaltay in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Çeliker Barbaros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alfonso Obarenes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehmet Hamdi Sarphan to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Hugo Flayre sped through Bornova's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kerim Sav. In the 56th minute, Xoan Austria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to CD Suscal getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bohórquez Oton hit a great ball. Alfonso Obarenes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Hamdi Sarphan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When CD Suscal's Hugo Flayre in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bornova's goalie prevented a goal. Kerim Sav stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Flayre's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Sermet Yalgın kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Hugo Flayre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kerim Sav read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Mehmet Hamdi Sarphan took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Obarenes. Alfonso Obarenes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Hugo Flayre charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Flayre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugo Flayre kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bornova's zone, Hugo Flayre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kerim Sav came out of the goal and Hugo Flayre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Flayre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The CD Suscal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bornova's performance. The match ended with a win for Bornova.
