AB Tårnby's Terkild Lukasen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Gentza in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Iztal in the 37th minute of play forced AB Tårnby's goalkeeper Terkild Lukasen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clas Gothardt kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Eduardo Iztal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 played minutes AB Tårnby got a freekick which was hit by Eli Touborg. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduardo Iztal to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Santa Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Eleder. 55 minutes into the match, AB Tårnby's Erik Valsgard broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Teis Okking managed to get in a good position for a shot. AB Tårnby's supporters rose to their feet, but Teis Okking was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Jerrald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermengildo Walme got free with Terkild Lukasen in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute, Erik Valsgard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Gogo Gentza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, AB Tårnby's Egil Kluglein sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriel Jerrald narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Niceto Calvet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terkild Lukasen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Terkild Lukasen guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Alberto Jacindo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 86 played minutes AB Tårnby got a freekick which was hit by Morten Hjulmand. With an all-out effort, Santa Margarita's Terkild Lukasen threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eduardo Iztal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. AB Tårnby's Laust Reenfeldt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alberto Jacindo, made in the 90th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Erik Valsgard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Many of Santa Margarita's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Santa Margarita may have spent more time on the ball, but AB Tårnby were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
