The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfonso Obarenes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Xoan Austria kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Gogo Gentza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Santa Margarita booed when CD Suscal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Parisi Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xoan Austria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 played minutes Santa Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Gentza. If Xoan Austria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Eduardo Iztal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfonso Obarenes. That made the score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. After 36 played minutes CD Suscal got a freekick which was hit by Xoan Austria. Alfonso Obarenes made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Eduardo Iztal sent off a good shot on target. Eusebio Ezkerra hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. CD Suscal's Hugo Flayre got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xoan Austria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Flayre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Santa Margarita getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hermengildo Walme hit a great ball. Bohórquez Oton charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bohórquez Oton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Santa Margarita booed when CD Suscal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bohórquez Oton didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hermengildo Walme came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Santa Margarita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Walme couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, CD Suscal's Ubaldo Argaez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Gogo Gentza struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Alfonso Obarenes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Margarita. In the 69th minute, Eduardo Iztal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonso Obarenes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a rather tough play, CD Suscal's Bohórquez Oton got a free kick in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Uriel Jerrald had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ubaldo Argaez. In the 79th minute, Ubaldo Argaez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Uriel Jerrald. The goal made the score 2-2. Uriel Jerrald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Flayre in the 87th minute of the match. Hermengildo Walme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Alfonso Obarenes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
