The referee showed Eusebio Ezkerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Misael during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Santa Margarita getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Flavio Misael hit a great ball. Luo Sen Jian kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The long shot by Flavio Misael in the 7th minute really tested Robin Vaktarhus's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 12 minutes, Filiph Samuelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Youth Academy Of Rhye and the Santa Margarita players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Youth Academy Of Rhye getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Filiph Samuelsson hit a great ball. Uriel Jerrald came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Youth Academy Of Rhye's Fred Kruuse. But to his dismay, Fred Kruuse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Luo Sen Jian fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Youth Academy Of Rhye's protests and gave Luo Sen Jian a yellow card for diving instead. Hermengildo Walme struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Robin Vaktarhus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Margarita. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Hermengildo Walme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Margarita's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Walme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Vaktarhus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Santa Margarita getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Alberto Jacindo hit a great ball. Uriel Jerrald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luo Sen Jian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Luo Sen Jian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Jerrald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 49 played minutes, Santa Margarita's Simon Atarratze shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robin Vaktarhus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Santa Margarita reached it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luo Sen Jian to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Luo Sen Jian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Youth Academy Of Rhye's supporters rose to their feet, but Luo Sen Jian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Jerrald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Youth Academy Of Rhye's Robin Vaktarhus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Iztal in the 55th minute of play. Robin Vaktarhus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Iztal in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Sven Lind got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Fred Kruuse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Youth Academy Of Rhye's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Kruuse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Jerrald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Youth Academy Of Rhye's Robin Vaktarhus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Iztal in the 68th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Fred Kruuse dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Uriel Jerrald, 1-4. Robin Vaktarhus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Iztal, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The supporters of Santa Margarita booed when Youth Academy Of Rhye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhao Feng didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Luo Sen Jian came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Youth Academy Of Rhye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luo Sen Jian couldn't finish the play. Luo Sen Jian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Uriel Jerrald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Youth Academy Of Rhye supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Youth Academy Of Rhye would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
