An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrică Milea in the 3rd minute of play forced Emalia Olkusz's goalkeeper Michal Michallek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th play minute Jedrzej Bendyk came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nicodim Arghirescu. 1-0. Michal Michallek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicu Steriopol, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Aleksander Chrzan lost his temper 18 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Emalia Olkusz's Aleksander Chrzan got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute Nicu Enceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Michallek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michal Michallek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Ciomag in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Emalia Olkusz's goal looked a bit too open when Nicu Enceanu came free, but Michal Michallek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Nicodim Arghirescu managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Emalia Olkusz's Jedrzej Bendyk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Michal Michallek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Steriopol in the 30th minute of play. Petrică Milea took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michal Michallek. Michal Michallek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Michal Michallek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigi Miclescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Jedrzej Bendyk kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Emalia Olkusz's Michal Michallek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicu Enceanu in the 37th minute of play. Carpathian Wolves were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Emalia Olkusz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicu Steriopol took the corner. After taking down the ball on Carpathian Wolves's corner Nicu Steriopol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Michal Michallek quite easily take care of the ball. Nicodim Arghirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Ochabski, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Leonard Ochabski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodim Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gigi Miclescu kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Gavril Ionete fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carpathian Wolves's protests and gave Gavril Ionete a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Gavril Ionete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 played minutes, Emalia Olkusz's Samuel Wieszczycki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicodim Arghirescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Emalia Olkusz reached it. Nicodim Arghirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Ochabski in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Emalia Olkusz's Zbyszko Radzyminski got a free kick in the 68th minute. After some careless play in the Carpathian Wolves defense, Leonard Ochabski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicodim Arghirescu. The Carpathian Wolves fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicodim Arghirescu should have stopped the shot. After 80 played minutes Emalia Olkusz got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Wieszczycki. In the 80th minute Nicu Enceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Michallek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Emalia Olkusz booed when Carpathian Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicu Enceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Emalia Olkusz's Michal Michallek got control of the ball when Nicu Steriopol tried to sneak it across the goal line.
