Darin Mankov hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oxel Viñales in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The supporters of Monitor Huáscar booed when Сакарско орехче was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miho Pogonchev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miho Pogonchev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johans Ortubia having to make a save. In the 18th minute, Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stayko Milevski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Lyuboslav Vushkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 minutes of play, Monitor Huáscar's Oxel Viñales made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zhelyazko Yazadzhiev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dimcho Perchemliev hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Txanton Sedeño managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monitor Huáscar's supporters rose to their feet, but Txanton Sedeño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zhelyazko Yazadzhiev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valentin Gitzov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johans Ortubia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anko Stoykovski in the 41st minute of the match. During the 45th minute of the match Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miho Pogonchev made a kick off. Miho Pogonchev scored 1-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johans Ortubia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's goal looked a bit too open when Miho Pogonchev came free, but Johans Ortubia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Chilov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Steven Fortis replaced Benigno Torne. When Humberto Sagasti fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monitor Huáscar's protests and gave Humberto Sagasti a yellow card for diving instead. Humberto Sagasti kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Chilov came free, but Johans Ortubia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johans Ortubia came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Сакарско орехче's Miho Pogonchev. But to his dismay, Miho Pogonchev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 81st minute Miho Pogonchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johans Ortubia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johans Ortubia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Chilov, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 91st minute, Monitor Huáscar's Humberto Sagasti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zhelyazko Yazadzhiev. Zhelyazko Yazadzhiev yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2.
