In the 9th minute Augusto Olentzaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Isidoro Corderun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eleuterio Daunte was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the game, Jeremias Natal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nicasio Txeru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 16 minutes of play, Monky FC's Jeremias Natal made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicasio Txeru was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Monky FC's zone, Isidoro Corderun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleuterio Daunte came out of the goal and Isidoro Corderun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moises Olayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Eleuterio Daunte made a huge save. In the 20th match minute, Monky FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Mel to maneuver through the defense. Club Atlético Temperley's Nicasio Txeru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Mel in the 28th minute of play. The Club Atlético Temperley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicasio Txeru should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Monky FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Emilio Gelacio hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Leo Viator ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eleuterio Daunte was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After the first half Monky FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leo Viator stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ceferino Mel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Ceferino Mel made a precise shot to the right of Nicasio Txeru. Club Atlético Temperley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. The supporters of Monky FC booed when Club Atlético Temperley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Lorien didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eleuterio Daunte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Viator in the 61st minute of the match. Nicasio Txeru was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Ceferino Mel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ceferino Mel really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. After 71 minutes, Ceferino Mel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monky FC and the Club Atlético Temperley players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute, Ceferino Mel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ceferino Mel kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Ceferino Mel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Nicasio Txeru made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Olentzaro in the 81st minute of play forced Monky FC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceferino Mel kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When Leo Viator came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Club Atlético Temperley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Viator couldn't finish the play.
