Yalapa's Everardo Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Madaleno in the 10th minute of play. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Constantino Sadurni in the 11th minute. Emilio Madaleno scored 2-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Everardo Sal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Yalapa's Ricardo Clis got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Sadurni in the 34th minute of play forced Yalapa's goalkeeper Everardo Sal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Alex Uchiha took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Everardo Sal to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anier Eudoxio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Yalapa's zone, Alex Uchiha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Sal came out of the goal and Alex Uchiha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th match minute, R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Jeraldo to maneuver through the defense.
