Jarkko Sulin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Dimitris Pirtsos made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paavo Salmela got free with Dimitris Pirtsos in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jarkko Sulin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimitris Pirtsos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. With a little luck, Lipochσrion FC's Dimitris Pirtsos got control of the ball when Paavo Salmela tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute Vassilis Mavrofridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juha Jokiranta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Manchester United FC's Tero Haakana ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dimitris Pirtsos. Dimitris Pirtsos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 23rd minute, Rasmus Viljanen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christoforos Triantafyllou charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christoforos Triantafyllou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christoforos Triantafyllou kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Paavo Salmela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dimitris Pirtsos made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Paavo Salmela sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute, Kustaa Virtanen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juha Jokiranta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgos Aggelopoulos in the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Jarkko Sulin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dimitris Pirtsos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juha Jokiranta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vassilis Mavrofridis in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paavo Salmela to make the kick off. After 51st play minutes Paavo Salmela shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Dimitris Pirtsos and just under the crossbar into goal. Rasmus Viljanen's late challenge caught a Lipochσrion FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United FC's zone, Vassilis Mavrofridis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juha Jokiranta came out of the goal and Vassilis Mavrofridis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Lipochσrion FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Vassilis Kritikos hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Tero Haakana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimitris Pirtsos was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 68th minute, Lipochσrion FC's Vassilis Kritikos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vassilis Kritikos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lipochσrion FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vassilis Kritikos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 68 minutes into the game, one of Lipochσrion FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Manchester United FC. Jarkko Sulin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dimitris Pirtsos. 6-0. 74 minutes into the match, Lipochσrion FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tero Haakana came free, but Dimitris Pirtsos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vassilis Mavrofridis fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lipochσrion FC's protests and gave Vassilis Mavrofridis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lipochσrion FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Vassilis Mavrofridis hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Tero Haakana made a precise shot to the right of Dimitris Pirtsos. Lipochσrion FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. 87 minutes into the game, Into Vihermäki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lipochσrion FC the free kick. The supporters of Lipochσrion FC booed when Manchester United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Into Vihermäki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimitris Pirtsos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paavo Salmela, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Into Vihermäki kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Dimitris Pirtsos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tero Haakana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
