After a rather tough play, Forros Fantásticos AC's Hector Frederico got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 32 played minutes, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Filipe de Souza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guillermo Marko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.E. Cachoeirinha reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorival Veloso in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Marko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frederico Gomes got free with Guillermo Marko in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Guerau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Marko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Gomes in the 60th minute of play forced Forros Fantásticos AC's goalkeeper Guillermo Marko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Emanuel Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute Frederico Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Marko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Forros Fantásticos AC's zone, Nilmar do Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillermo Marko came out of the goal and Nilmar do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frederico Gomes struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Guillermo Marko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E. Cachoeirinha. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Frederico Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E. Cachoeirinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Marko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 82 minutes of play Forros Fantásticos AC's Arnulfo Afonso was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Arnulfo Afonso hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when Forros Fantásticos AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Ubendu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Nilmar do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Frederico Gomes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillermo Marko was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. After 92nd play minutes Dorival Veloso shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Guillermo Marko and just under the crossbar into goal.
