When Kleon Fotakoglou fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lipochσrion FC's protests and gave Kleon Fotakoglou a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lipochσrion FC's Kleon Fotakoglou got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Eurico Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Eurico Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimitris Pirtsos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, Mathias Gaúcho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lipochσrion FC's Dimitris Pirtsos. Dimitris Pirtsos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raúl Guimarães in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimitris Pirtsos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mathias Gaúcho struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Dimitris Pirtsos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floripa Lions FSCMZ. Dimitris Pirtsos came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Raúl Guimarães. But to his dismay, Raúl Guimarães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Floripa Lions FSCMZ getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Sydney Martins hit a great ball. Thodoris Vlastarakis struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Evaristo Siqueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lipochσrion FC. Lipochσrion FC's Giorgos Aggelopoulos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eurico Palmeira in the 23 minute of the game. Thodoris Vlastarakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Evaristo Siqueira made a huge save. After having played for 28 minutes, Sydney Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sydney Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Jonas Arantes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Dimitris Pirtsos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Lipochσrion FC defense, Raúl Guimarães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimitris Pirtsos. The Lipochσrion FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimitris Pirtsos should have stopped the shot. Dimitris Pirtsos came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Mathias Gaúcho. But to his dismay, Mathias Gaúcho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After the first half Floripa Lions FSCMZ were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vassilis Mavrofridis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cícero Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Cícero Moura hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes, Lipochσrion FC's Thodoris Vlastarakis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evaristo Siqueira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lipochσrion FC reached it. 70 minutes into the match, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Aggelopoulos came free, but Evaristo Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitris Pirtsos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Giorgos Aggelopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Raúl Guimarães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Dimitris Pirtsos made a huge save. Giorgos Aggelopoulos's late challenge caught a Floripa Lions FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giorgos Aggelopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. Giorgos Aggelopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, Lipochσrion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Aggelopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Lipochσrion FC's Paraskevas Chronis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eurico Palmeira in the 88 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Arantes got free with Dimitris Pirtsos in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mathias Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Pirtsos having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Floripa Lions FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
