In the 13th match minute, Glorioso Deportivo Cali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pes Carrasquedo to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Cavalcante scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruisko Perucho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Falcão Viana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruisko Perucho. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Falcão Viana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 21 minutes into the match, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Viana came free, but Ruisko Perucho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruisko Perucho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luuk de Jong, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 32 minutes, Pes Carrasquedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glorioso Deportivo Cali and the Vila Industrial FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Glorioso Deportivo Cali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pes Carrasquedo to maneuver through the defense. Pedrinho Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Glorioso Deportivo Cali players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vila Industrial FC were winning 0-4.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Luuk de Jong in the 55th minute of play forced Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goalkeeper Ruisko Perucho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Glorioso Deportivo Cali defense, Wiliam Viana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruisko Perucho. The Glorioso Deportivo Cali fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruisko Perucho should have stopped the shot. Rafael Cavalcante showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Ruisko Perucho was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Falcão Viana capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Falcão Viana really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Narciso Schmidt 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-10. Ruisko Perucho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luuk de Jong in the 84th minute. Rafael Cavalcante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ruisko Perucho made a huge save. Ruisko Perucho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Falcão Viana went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. Falcão Viana in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ruisko Perucho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Ruisko Perucho got control of the ball when Rafael Cavalcante tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruisko Perucho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pes Carrasquedo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Vila Industrial FC's Ruisko Perucho threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Falcão Viana, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Glorioso Deportivo Cali fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vila Industrial FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
