Zé Recife hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the match, Forros Fantásticos AC's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Gomes came free, but Guillermo Marko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Anastasio Millano 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 10th minute, Anastasio Millano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Betão de Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Anastasio Millano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Betão de Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Betão de Amaral didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when Forros Fantásticos AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Weather didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral got control of the ball when Gustavo Ubendu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Elias Vianna got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Guillermo Marko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Gomes in the 27th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Jonatan Quinito put in a rough tackle. Guillermo Marko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Forros Fantásticos AC's Nicanor Weather got a free kick in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Forros Fantásticos AC's zone, Frederico Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillermo Marko came out of the goal and Frederico Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the S.E. Cachoeirinha defense, Gustavo Ubendu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Betão de Amaral. The S.E. Cachoeirinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Betão de Amaral should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd match minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edinho Mello to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Marko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Veloso in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dorival Veloso to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Gustavo Ubendu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guillermo Marko was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Frederico Gomes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dorival Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Guillermo Marko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 minutes of play S.E. Cachoeirinha's Elder Luz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 97th minute, Elder Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Forros Fantásticos AC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
