Steff Wuttemans charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steff Wuttemans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, real dixmuda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steff Wuttemans to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, DFP's Prospero Cutberto got a free kick in the 5th minute. Olov Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gerard Verhaghe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerard Verhaghe made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Olov Berggren sent off a good shot on target. Gerard Verhaghe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carl Thorsberg in the 27th minute. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Mathias Goovaerts sped through DFP's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carl Carlsson. Gerard Verhaghe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Cutberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 57th minute Olov Berggren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerard Verhaghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, real dixmuda's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Berggren came free, but Gerard Verhaghe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Gregorie Smet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 played minutes, DFP's Nicklas Molin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gerard Verhaghe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in real dixmuda fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! A collision led to real dixmuda getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Xavier Diependaele hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, real dixmuda's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Berggren came free, but Gerard Verhaghe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerard Verhaghe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Berggren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of DFP booed when real dixmuda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorie Smet didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Uno Blom came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the DFP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uno Blom couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the game, DFP's Dan Lang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerard Verhaghe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 88 minutes into the game, Carl Thorsberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Gerard Verhaghe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gerard Verhaghe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Berggren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. real dixmuda's Gerard Verhaghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Berggren in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. DFP fully deserved thier win.
