Spectators: 7545 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Olov Berggren took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to DFP getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Prospero Cutberto hit a great ball. In the 7th minute Wlodzimierz Raszek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Carlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Catalonia's Edgar Rzeszutko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Berggren in the 8th minute of play. Edgar Rzeszutko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Berggren in the 10th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, FC Catalonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Betonowy to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Carl Thorsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Wlodzimierz Raszek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carl Carlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Raszek in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to FC Catalonia getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Stefan Fikus hit a great ball. Aleksander Eliasson charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aleksander Eliasson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aleksander Eliasson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Carl Carlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Fikus, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Jerry Mattsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carl Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Raszek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olov Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Edgar Rzeszutko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Wlodzimierz Raszek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carl Carlsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wlodzimierz Raszek to strike the kick off in the second half. If Stefan Fikus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Stefan Fikus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carl Carlsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Jerry Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Edgar Rzeszutko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Carl Thorsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Czeslaw Piczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. The supporters of FC Catalonia booed when DFP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars-Erik Flink didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Stefan Fikus could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Carl Carlsson however easily saved by the left post. FC Catalonia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernard Kowalski in the 78th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of DFP's goalie and right to Czeslaw Piczak. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. DFP's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 78 played minutes FC Catalonia got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Piczak. Czeslaw Piczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Carlsson having to interfere. Karl-Magnus Öfverman's late challenge caught a FC Catalonia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Magnus Öfverman helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to DFP getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Karl-Magnus Öfverman hit a great ball. Edgar Rzeszutko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Berggren, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When DFP's Olov Berggren in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Catalonia's goalie prevented a goal. Edgar Rzeszutko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Mattsson in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Czeslaw Piczak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Catalonia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Czeslaw Piczak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in DFP's zone, Stefan Fikus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Carlsson came out of the goal and Stefan Fikus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stefan Fikus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carl Carlsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by DFP's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bernard Kowalski was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Catalonia's players had a chance to rest. The FC Catalonia players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented DFP from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
