Rodolfo Iliana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Cordara, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Silvestre Gurutz's late challenge caught a Sportivo Constitución's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Eufrasio scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Iliana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Masters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clodoveo Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Adan Otoniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gaspar Libertad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
