In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vasco FC's goalkeeper Wellington Barbosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by 龚寒树 in the 47th minute of play forced Vasco FC's goalkeeper Wellington Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
