Fermin Mingo started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Linhares in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Kismi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Mario Padro fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Atlanta's protests and gave Mario Padro a yellow card for diving instead. Richard Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Kismi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Machado in the 18th minute of the match. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Richard Senna in the 19th minute. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Cícero Faria was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnoldo Kismi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 22 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Linhares came free, but Arnoldo Kismi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Kismi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnoldo Kismi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Linhares came free, but Arnoldo Kismi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Mingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The audience was convinced that Richard Linhares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Kismi was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After having played for 48 minutes, Richard Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Richard Linhares made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Richard Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Kismi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Dorian Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Mingo in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Linhares in the 63rd minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Arnoldo Kismi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Linhares in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Richard Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Linhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Kismi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C. A. Atlanta's attentive Besart Toto managed to snatch the ball when Cícero Faria made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Mingo in the 78th minute of play forced Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Nestor Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of C. A. Atlanta booed when Magnifico FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Richard Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Kismi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Alan Machado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnoldo Kismi. The goal made the score 0-1. The supporters of C. A. Atlanta booed when Magnifico FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chicão Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnoldo Kismi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Linhares in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute Richard Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Kismi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Magnifico FC - FSCMZ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
