After 2 played minutes Relyn Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Alagoano. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luli Amor in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Válbson Mattos saved Relyn Futebol Clube from getting behind. Anselmo Meireles's late challenge caught a Programayin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Meireles helped the player get up and apologised. Anselmo Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Relyn Futebol Clube defense, Lilian Thuram kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Válbson Mattos. The Relyn Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Válbson Mattos should have stopped the shot. Válbson Mattos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luli Amor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Relyn Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fernando Almeida. A collision led to Programayin getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dino Tebe hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Programayin's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Meireles came free, but Santo Careaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Relyn Futebol Clube's Válbson Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luli Amor in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Relyn Futebol Clube's Eurico Medeiros got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Eguen Catalan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Válbson Mattos. Relyn Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eguen Catalan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 39 played minutes Programayin got a freekick which was hit by Luli Amor. Válbson Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luli Lulić, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oihan Onis in the 43rd minute of play forced Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Válbson Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Programayin were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Toninho Valladares made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Programayin got a freekick which was hit by Denílson Colmenares. Juan Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Santo Careaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Aílton Tróia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Relyn Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Programayin the free kick. Aílton Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Válbson Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lilian Thuram in the 57th minute of play. Cesar Molledo charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesar Molledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cesar Molledo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Relyn Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Eguen Catalan scored to the left of an out of position Válbson Mattos, making the score, 0-4. In the 77th match minute, Programayin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luli Lulić to maneuver through the defense. Relyn Futebol Clube's Anselmo Meireles got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Anselmo Meireles off the ground. Anselmo Meireles hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute of the match, Oihan Onis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Válbson Mattos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Oihan Onis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Válbson Mattos made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Programayin's Lilian Thuram dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. When the final whistle sounded Programayin left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Relyn Futebol Clube.
