The wind increased when Richard Linhares made the kick off in the second half. Chicão Novaes's late challenge caught a FC rossoneri SENICA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richard Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikuláš Hnilica having to interfere. FC rossoneri SENICA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
