Alpertunga Korcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jonathan De Mitri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Clemente Ciano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mustafa Hakan Topel. MarineerS FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clemente Ciano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Yenal Okdemir took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jonathan De Mitri to make any attempt to save it. After 13 played minutes MarineerS FK got a freekick which was hit by Hüseyin Can Bilgiç. After 14 played minutes MarineerS FK got a freekick which was hit by Sancarbey Çakıroğlu. 15 minutes into the game, Clemente Ciano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Mustafa Hakan Topel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Halit Fahri Subutay fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MarineerS FK's protests and gave Halit Fahri Subutay a yellow card for diving instead. Halit Fahri Subutay hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Clemente Ciano came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Nippur de Lagash 2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Ciano couldn't finish the play. Jonathan De Mitri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sancarbey Çakıroğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, Menderes Ünaldi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan De Mitri. Menderes Ünaldi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Jonathan De Mitri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yenal Okdemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, MarineerS FK's Alpertunga Korcan got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Lorenzo Bertran made a precise shot to the right of Mustafa Hakan Topel. MarineerS FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 44th match minute, MarineerS FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yenal Okdemir to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Bertran in the 47th minute of play forced MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Mustafa Hakan Topel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With his leg Mustafa Hakan Topel managed to avoid a goal in the 50thth minute, when Nippur de Lagash 2's Clemente Ciano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Clemente Ciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nippur de Lagash 2's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Ciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Hakan Topel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alpertunga Korcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by MarineerS FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Angel Natal was slow to take the kick. During this time Nippur de Lagash 2's players had a chance to rest. Clemente Ciano came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mustafa Hakan Topel could save by the left post. In the 68thth minute of the game Sancarbey Çakıroğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nippur de Lagash 2's Jonathan De Mitri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan De Mitri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Ambjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mustafa Hakan Topel made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Clemente Ciano sent off a good shot on target. Nippur de Lagash 2's Lorenzo Bertran got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sancarbey Çakıroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Nippur de Lagash 2 booed when MarineerS FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüseyin Can Bilgiç didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nippur de Lagash 2 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MarineerS FK.
