Sabin Corcoveanu hit a great ball. The supporters of FC Luck booed when Club Vertigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Mănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 minutes of play, FC Luck's Remus Mihăileanu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gelu Pașcalău was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 7th minute Narcis Ţipirig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Pașcalău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes of play, FC Luck's Remus Mihăileanu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gelu Pașcalău was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gelu Pașcalău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Ţipirig, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Club Vertigo's Gelu Pașcalău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Ţipirig in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute George Huștiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Pașcalău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavril Neicu lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Remus Mihăileanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gelu Pașcalău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Huștiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Remus Mihăileanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciprian Barboni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Giubelean in the 29th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Aurelian Mănescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Ciprian Barboni however easily saved by the left post. Adrian Mailat hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If Remus Mihăileanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sabin Corcoveanu made a kick off. Club Vertigo's Gelu Pașcalău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Mihăileanu in the 52nd minute of play. If Robert Holban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remus Mihăileanu succeeded in the game's 57th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Remus Mihăileanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gelu Pașcalău came out and tried to block the shot, but Remus Mihăileanu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 60th minute. Adrian Mailat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gelu Pașcalău didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remus Mihăileanu went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute, Adrian Mailat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sabin Corcoveanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Barboni having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, FC Luck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gheorghe Comăneci to maneuver through the defense. When Remus Mihăileanu came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the FC Luck fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remus Mihăileanu couldn't finish the play. Ciprian Barboni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Hrean, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, FC Luck's goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Mavrogheni came free, but Ciprian Barboni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Corcoveanu in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Luck's goalkeeper Ciprian Barboni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gelu Pașcalău stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remus Mihăileanu's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 86th match minute, Club Vertigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Giubelean to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's Sabin Corcoveanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciprian Barboni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Daniel Chirea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Remus Mihăileanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Luck's supporters rose to their feet, but Remus Mihăileanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gelu Pașcalău breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The FC Luck supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Luck would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
