Diogo Negri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eusebio Polo scored 0-2 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diogo Negri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute, Eusebio Polo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Mela Banco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 20th minute, Filiberto Sauveur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diogo Negri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Diogo Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Polo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diogo Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Polo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th match minute, Quandus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Gabriel Vaz to maneuver through the defense. Quandus's Diogo Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Polo in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Laffitte in the 29th minute of play forced Quandus's goalkeeper Diogo Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilson Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Filiberto Sauveur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diogo Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Polo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Diogo Negri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filiberto Sauveur went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Eusebio Polo took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diogo Negri. Diogo Negri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 42nd minute, Durval de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Polo in the 45th minute of play forced Quandus's goalkeeper Diogo Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiago Gabriel Vaz made a kick off. When Silvestre Laffitte fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportivo Mela Banco's protests and gave Silvestre Laffitte a yellow card for diving instead. Silvestre Laffitte hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Quandus's Elói Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Eusebio Polo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Diogo Negri. The goal made the score 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filiberto Sauveur got free with Diogo Negri in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Tiago Gabriel Vaz came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Quandus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Gabriel Vaz couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute Fausto Eguzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Eusebio Polo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Diogo Negri. The goal made the score 0-8. Fausto Eguzki might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diogo Negri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Eguzki ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute Silvestre Laffitte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diogo Negri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filiberto Sauveur went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. 78 minutes into the match, Quandus's goalkeeper Diogo Negri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Laffitte. When Filiberto Sauveur came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Sportivo Mela Banco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Sauveur couldn't finish the play. Diogo Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Polo in the 86th minute of play. Fausto Eguzki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Diogo Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filiberto Sauveur took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diogo Negri. Diogo Negri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. The supporters of Sportivo Mela Banco booed when Quandus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball.
