Spectators: 7514 (Terracing: 5636, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Moisés Dracena started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Haridades F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Aballe came free, but Ronaldinho Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justino Palos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ronaldinho Pernambucano was a little too slow when Samuel Aballe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ivan Nastasio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moisés Dracena's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. A collision led to Fortinducto getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Aureliano Odilon hit a great ball. If Luís Eduardo Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 16 played minutes Haridades F.C got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Pontes. 17 minutes into the match, Haridades F.C's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Pernambucano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lisandro Erasto. Ronaldinho Pernambucano stood somewhat misplaced when Samuel Aballe came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 25 minute. Ronaldinho Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Aballe in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Haridades F.C defense, Aureliano Odilon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldinho Pernambucano. The Haridades F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldinho Pernambucano should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute, Justino Palos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronaldinho Pernambucano was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justino Palos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luís Eduardo Souza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Ivan Nastasio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 60 played minutes Fortinducto got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Aballe. Roger Koehler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivan Nastasio. Fortinducto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Haridades F.C getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Amílton Moreno hit a great ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Aureliano Odilon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fortinducto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Odilon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Aballe's late challenge caught a Haridades F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Aballe helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fortinducto's Samuel Aballe got a free kick in the 67th minute. Ronaldinho Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Odilon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldinho Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Palos in the 71st minute of the match. Ernesto Coelho hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Epifanio Polo's late challenge caught a Haridades F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Epifanio Polo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Haridades F.C booed when Fortinducto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Polo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Nastasio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gerson Sarmento. Ronaldinho Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Odilon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Aballe in the 86th minute of play forced Haridades F.C's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Aureliano Odilon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fortinducto's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Odilon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldinho Pernambucano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fortinducto's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
