Ronaldinho Pernambucano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Isazi went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ronaldinho Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neicer Maltrana in the 10th minute of play. Neicer Maltrana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldinho Pernambucano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Ronaldinho Pernambucano was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Gustavo Isazi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gustavo Isazi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 25 minutes into the game, Neicer Maltrana lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Ronaldinho Pernambucano. In the 30th minute, Gustavo Isazi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ronaldinho Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Isazi in the 42nd minute of play. Ronaldinho Pernambucano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogerio Vilela in the 43rd minute. In the 45th match minute, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Archibeque to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Haridades F.C getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ernesto Coelho hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moisés Dracena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Isazi in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldinho Pernambucano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emilio Archibeque in the 53rd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Neicer Maltrana heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ronaldinho Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neicer Maltrana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Gustavo Isazi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Neicer Maltrana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Ronaldinho Pernambucano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronaldinho Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neicer Maltrana, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute.
