When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ronaldo Guimarães sped through lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Epifanio Restu. Ronaldo Guimarães's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Epifanio Restu firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc defense, Ronaldo Guimarães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Restu. The lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Restu should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute, Bebeto Mendes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pesqueira City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 15th minute, Luizão Pesqueira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Epifanio Restu. The goal made the score 4-0. Haroldo Rexino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enéas Borges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's goal looked a bit too open when Rômulo de Queirós came free, but Epifanio Restu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Orlo came free, but Enéas Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Bebeto Mendes notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's Epifanio Restu. Epifanio Restu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Pesqueira City's Ronaldo Guimarães slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Epifanio Restu. That made the score 6-0 after 40 minutes of play. In the 44th minute, Pesqueira City's Luizão Pesqueira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-0. In the 46th minute, Rosendo Emmanuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's Epifanio Restu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bebeto Mendes in the 55th minute of play. Haroldo Rexino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Enéas Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Enéas Borges managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's Cipriano Orlo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 61st minute, Gabriel Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Guimarães in the 64th minute of play forced lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's goalkeeper Epifanio Restu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 67 in the game by Cipriano Orlo from a close distance when the talented Enéas Borges managed to make a qualified save. Pesqueira City's players were relieved. After 68 played minutes lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Rexino. Epifanio Restu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Mendes in the 70th minute of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pesqueira City's goalkeeper Enéas Borges, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luizão Pesqueira in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Restu saved lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc from getting behind. After some careless play in the lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc defense, Ronaldo Guimarães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Restu. The lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Restu should have stopped the shot. In the 89th match minute, lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Rexino to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Pesqueira City's Rômulo de Queirós got a free kick in the 92nd minute. There was no doubt that Pesqueira City were the better team. Pesqueira City's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
