Erich Berghoff was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Balus Treter's Jens Ehrlichmann got a free kick in the 19th minute. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Máté Berta took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Erich Berghoff to make any attempt to save it. René Lazarus charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed René Lazarus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by István Császár in the 25th minute of play forced Balus Treter's goalkeeper Erich Berghoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Hungarian Olympic booed when Balus Treter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Wildemann didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goalkeeper Erich Berghoff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by István Császár. The Hungarian Olympic fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Hungarian Olympic's István Császár looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. László Nemes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 7-0 in the 41st playminute. In the 45thth minute of the game István Császár who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balus Treter's Erich Berghoff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. László Nemes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erich Berghoff read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

If István Császár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 51st minute, Máté Berta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd minute István Császár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erich Berghoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. László Nemes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rouven Jansen's late challenge caught a Hungarian Olympic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rouven Jansen helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Balus Treter fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! In the 76th minute, Edmund Wildemann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rouven Jansen got a throw-in 77 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Simon Heinlein. With a couple of smart ball manuevers István Császár in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erich Berghoff saved Balus Treter from getting behind. In the 96th minute István Császár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erich Berghoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hungarian Olympic's István Császár in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Balus Treter's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that Hungarian Olympic were the better team. Hungarian Olympic's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
