Mochila FC's Erik Amorim quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 33 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Fonseca came free, but Celso Turi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tostão Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Chepe in the 36th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Fernan Chepe made a precise shot to the right of Tostão Varela. In the 63rd minute Fernan Chepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Mochila FC's Zé Roberto Fonseca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. When Manuel Oliveiro fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granate's protests and gave Manuel Oliveiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Granate getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Manuel Oliveiro hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernan Chepe in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tostão Varela saved Mochila FC from getting behind. Adelino Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adelino Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
