The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 minutes, Ekpenyong Vogler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balus Treter and the SHADOW players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Balus Treter's Ekpenyong Vogler got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 11th match minute, SHADOW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Napoleon Czempa to maneuver through the defense. Balus Treter's Erich Berghoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Poreda in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Zula Trochowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zula Trochowski hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Erich Berghoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zula Trochowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erich Berghoff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zula Trochowski went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zbigniew Poreda in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erich Berghoff prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Balus Treter's Erich Berghoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Balus Treter from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the game, SHADOW's Zula Trochowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erich Berghoff made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Zbigniew Poreda's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Erich Berghoff firmly grabbed it by the left post. Erich Berghoff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zula Trochowski in the 65th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as SHADOW's Zbyszko Sowa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erich Berghoff. That made the score 0-3 after 69 minutes of play. Erich Berghoff made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Zula Trochowski sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zbigniew Poreda in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The supporters of SHADOW booed when Balus Treter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kornelius Wewers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erich Berghoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Poreda in the 78th minute of the match. With a little luck, Balus Treter's Erich Berghoff got control of the ball when Zbigniew Poreda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erich Berghoff was a little too slow when Zbyszko Sowa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-4. SHADOW's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
