The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Drunken Sea Monkeys's Kevin Kivaste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Medardo in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Rigoberto Jakobe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Kivaste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Drunken Sea Monkeys's zone, Roman Karlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Kivaste came out of the goal and Roman Karlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kevin Kivaste stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeo Carlomagno's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Apolo Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quebracho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apolo Medardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Drunken Sea Monkeys getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ken Tänav hit a great ball. Kevin Kivaste came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Quebracho FC's Zacarias Mikelar. But to his dismay, Zacarias Mikelar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Rigoberto Jakobe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Quebracho FC fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Quebracho FC's Romeo Carlomagno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kevin Kivaste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Jakobe, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ken Tänav hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Medardo in the 35th minute of play forced Drunken Sea Monkeys's goalkeeper Kevin Kivaste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Romeo Carlomagno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevin Kivaste was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Paolo Abastas came out of the goal and Adolf Mustasaar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Drunken Sea Monkeys's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Medardo came free, but Kevin Kivaste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Jakobe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kevin Kivaste having to make a save. 45 minutes into the game, Zacarias Mikelar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Kevin Kivaste was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrik Tombak was the one to do the kick off. Apolo Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Kevin Kivaste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Drunken Sea Monkeys's goalkeeper Kevin Kivaste had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeo Carlomagno. Apolo Medardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Kivaste was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rigoberto Jakobe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 59 minute of play. The player immediately received a yellow card. Humberto Quintin kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Quebracho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Tombak came free, but Paolo Abastas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Jakobe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 74 minutes, Zacarias Mikelar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romeo Carlomagno struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Kevin Kivaste didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quebracho FC. 81 minutes into the match, Romeo Carlomagno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kevin Kivaste. Drunken Sea Monkeys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romeo Carlomagno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Kevin Kivaste stood somewhat misplaced when Rigoberto Jakobe came free in front of goal and shot 0-9 to the left of him in the 84 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Jakobe in the 87th minute of play forced Drunken Sea Monkeys's goalkeeper Kevin Kivaste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romeo Carlomagno in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Kivaste prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Henrik Tombak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
