Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marco Abella started the match with the kick off. After 5 minutes of play, Despidida AFC's Marco Abella made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Abella in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthias Merk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Marco Abella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matthias Merk was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Abella came free, but Matthias Merk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthias Merk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Diagur, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 28 minutes, Armando Ubarna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Despidida AFC and the Balus Treter players grew even worse after the yellow card. Armando Ubarna hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Santiago Diagur made a precise shot to the right of Matthias Merk. Balus Treter's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Kornelius Wewers's late challenge caught a Despidida AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kornelius Wewers helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Balus Treter getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Kornelius Wewers hit a great ball. Santiago Diagur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ekpenyong Vogler charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ekpenyong Vogler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Balus Treter got a freekick which was hit by Ekpenyong Vogler.

The wind increased when Alois Ritschel made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Balus Treter got a freekick which was hit by Felix Groll. Matthias Merk was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Marco Abella capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marco Abella really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. 59 minutes into the game, Ati Cabezudo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Matthias Merk. Ati Cabezudo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. If Marco Abella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tim Noll fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balus Treter's protests and gave Tim Noll a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Balus Treter got a freekick which was hit by Tim Noll. Marco Abella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 minutes of play Balus Treter's Tim Noll was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when Balus Treter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Noll didn't get a good kick on the ball.
