An unexpectedly hard shot by Benoît Lamarre in the 20th minute of play forced Marshrose's goalkeeper Byron Wills to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Marshrose defense, Flavian Garcon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Byron Wills. The Marshrose fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Byron Wills should have stopped the shot. Columbus Long kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Flavian Garcon made a precise shot to the right of Byron Wills. Marshrose's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The supporters of Rathmore Lime Tree booed when Marshrose was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Desilets didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marshrose's Byron Wills proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Marshrose from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd match minute, Marshrose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sammie Laderoute to maneuver through the defense. Rathmore Lime Tree's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
