In the 5th minute Lennart Svanström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jussef Ben Mami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th match minute, Salmiyah Power was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samir Abdenouz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Arce in the 7th minute of play forced Salmiyah Power's goalkeeper Jussef Ben Mami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörgen Gummeson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fadhil Meniri, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Jussef Ben Mami took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Garphyttan's goalkeeper Jörgen Gummeson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fadhil Meniri. Salmiyah Power's Jussef Ben Mami played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Svanström in the 20th minute of play. When Jesus Arce came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Garphyttan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesus Arce couldn't finish the play. After having played for 29 minutes, Bernt Nordmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garphyttan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernt Nordmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th match minute, Garphyttan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Kinnman to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Garphyttan's goalkeeper Jörgen Gummeson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Lennart Svanström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Bernt Nordmark managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garphyttan's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernt Nordmark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jussef Ben Mami breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lennart Svanström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Svanström in the 47th minute of play forced Salmiyah Power's goalkeeper Jussef Ben Mami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Jörgen Gummeson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoheir Cohen in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Salmiyah Power's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Arce came free, but Jussef Ben Mami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fadhil Meniri in the 55th minute of play forced Garphyttan's goalkeeper Jörgen Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jussef Ben Mami made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lennart Svanström in the 59th minute. If Lennart Svanström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halim Zeghdoud in the 67th minute of play forced Garphyttan's goalkeeper Jörgen Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Arce in the 78th minute of play forced Salmiyah Power's goalkeeper Jussef Ben Mami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Fadhil Meniri made a precise shot to the right of Jörgen Gummeson. Garphyttan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0.
