F.Salgado F.C.'s Nando Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Quintun in the 2nd minute of play. A collision led to F.Salgado F.C. getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Joélson Prata hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Newpi Academy's Fernando Asur got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauã dos Santos in the 13th minute of play forced Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Ceferino Balasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Edgard Quintun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newpi Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Délio Lima got free with Ceferino Balasi in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nando Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Quintun in the 28th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Cauã dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.Salgado F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cauã dos Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceferino Balasi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 33 played minutes Newpi Academy got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Santiago. In the 34th minute of the match Délio Lima shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ceferino Balasi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 37th minute Cláudio Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Balasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. F.Salgado F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Délio Lima in the 38th minute. After 41 minutes of play, Newpi Academy's Rolando Reynardo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nando Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Délio Lima hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes Newpi Academy got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Quintun.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Quintun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Newpi Academy's Ceferino Balasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio Lima in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Délio Lima in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ceferino Balasi saved Newpi Academy from getting behind. After 66 played minutes F.Salgado F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Marques. A collision led to F.Salgado F.C. getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Edmílson Mattos hit a great ball. Ceferino Balasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Marques in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Newpi Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Cuartio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauã dos Santos in the 85th minute of play forced Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Ceferino Balasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Délio Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Newpi Academy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
