Seating: 1799, VIP seats: 156) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bartolomeo Heinlein started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Sydney FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Thorben Rittmann hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Adnan Tilner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Robak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeo Heinlein in the 11th minute of play forced KKS Magines's goalkeeper Waldemar Robak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to KKS Magines getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Leszek Wrzosek hit a great ball. Rasmus Gölz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leszek Wrzosek, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Sydney FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beniamin Zywiec came free, but Rasmus Gölz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Sydney FC's goalkeeper Rasmus Gölz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witold Chodzinski. The supporters of KKS Magines booed when Sydney FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaus Mogg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Merten Kilic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Sydney FC's Rasmus Gölz got control of the ball when Witold Chodzinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Sydney FC's goalkeeper Rasmus Gölz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grzegorz Michnik. KKS Magines's Waldemar Robak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomeo Heinlein in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sydney FC defense, Beniamin Zywiec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rasmus Gölz. The Sydney FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rasmus Gölz should have stopped the shot. Leszek Wrzosek was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 42 played minutes KKS Magines got a freekick which was hit by Leszek Wrzosek. 45 minutes into the match, Sydney FC's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Chodzinski came free, but Rasmus Gölz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Grzegorz Michnik made a kick off. When Adnan Tilner came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Sydney FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adnan Tilner couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Michnik in the 56th minute of play forced Sydney FC's goalkeeper Rasmus Gölz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rasmus Gölz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ludomir Joks went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Waldemar Robak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorben Rittmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Walentowicz in the 65th minute of play forced Sydney FC's goalkeeper Rasmus Gölz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rasmus Gölz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Michnik in the 67th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Sydney FC's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Chodzinski came free, but Rasmus Gölz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A wasted opportunity for KKS Magines. 81 minutes into the match, Sydney FC's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Chodzinski came free, but Rasmus Gölz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 played minutes KKS Magines got a freekick which was hit by Szymon Lewkowicz. Rasmus Gölz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witold Chodzinski's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Rasmus Gölz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szymon Lewkowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, Sydney FC's Klaus Mogg got a free kick in the 91st minute. Rasmus Gölz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Chodzinski in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 minutes, Ludomir Joks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KKS Magines and the Sydney FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, KKS Magines's Ludomir Joks got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute of the match Klaus Mogg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waldemar Robak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There was no doubt that KKS Magines were the better team. KKS Magines's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
