Spectators: 7793 (Terracing: 5846, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 155) Florian Guderian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Michnik in the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KKS Magines's Tobiasz Zbytniewski got a free kick in the 12th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Sydney FC's Klaus Mogg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sydney FC's goalkeeper Florian Guderian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 20 minutes Sydney FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tobiasz Zbytniewski who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrik Reifer during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Henrik Reifer kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sydney FC's goalkeeper Florian Guderian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute KKS Magines were awarded a corner. Tobiasz Zbytniewski went to the cornerflag to take it. After 29 played minutes Sydney FC got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Reifer. Florian Guderian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Chodzinski in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per Schäfer in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldemar Robak saved KKS Magines from getting behind. Florian Guderian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Witold Chodzinski went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Florian Guderian came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by KKS Magines's Beniamin Zywiec. But to his dismay, Beniamin Zywiec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Sydney FC made a substitution. Nat Schmitt replaced Hippolyt Esche. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Per Schäfer to make the kick off. Waldemar Robak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Schäfer, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Florian Guderian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witold Chodzinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When Beniamin Zywiec came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the KKS Magines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beniamin Zywiec couldn't finish the play. When Klaus Mogg fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sydney FC's protests and gave Klaus Mogg a yellow card for diving instead. Florian Guderian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beniamin Zywiec's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. KKS Magines's Waldemar Robak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Schäfer in the 67th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sydney FC defense, Witold Chodzinski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florian Guderian. The Sydney FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florian Guderian should have stopped the shot. Florian Guderian came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by KKS Magines's Tobiasz Zbytniewski. But to his dismay, Tobiasz Zbytniewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Beniamin Zywiec might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florian Guderian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beniamin Zywiec ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd play minute Witold Chodzinski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Florian Guderian. 0-6. After 88 played minutes KKS Magines got a freekick which was hit by Tobiasz Zbytniewski. After 91 minutes of play, KKS Magines's Witold Chodzinski made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florian Guderian was left in no man's land by his defense there!
