But to his dismay, Ilie Ciociu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Juozas Zelmikas came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Ares FC -MM-'s Martin Firoiu. But to his dismay, Martin Firoiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Ares FC -MM- getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Anton Hurezan hit a great ball. The supporters of Geležinis Vilkas booed when Ares FC -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristide Chihaia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jo Ares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rupertas Laurinavičius in the 23rd minute. Juozas Zelmikas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Chihaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Algitas Sadauskas hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Juozas Zelmikas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristide Chihaia in the 29th minute of the match. Jo Ares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nerūnas Stulgys in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Anton Hurezan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ares FC -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Juozas Zelmikas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Chihaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Ilie Ciociu scored 0-5 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juozas Zelmikas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 55th minute, Geležinis Vilkas's Kristupas Kirkutis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kristupas Kirkutis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Geležinis Vilkas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kristupas Kirkutis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Kristupas Kirkutis kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Geležinis Vilkas's zone, Victor Răchită stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juozas Zelmikas came out of the goal and Victor Răchită tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rupertas Laurinavičius struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jo Ares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geležinis Vilkas. If Justinas Paliūnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Geležinis Vilkas's Juozas Zelmikas got control of the ball when Aristide Chihaia tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Turceanu in the 68th minute of play forced Geležinis Vilkas's goalkeeper Juozas Zelmikas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Ares FC -MM-'s Ilie Ciociu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juozas Zelmikas. Juozas Zelmikas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. If Aristide Chihaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ares FC -MM-'s Ilie Ciociu got a free kick in the 76th minute. Juozas Zelmikas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anton Hurezan went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. In the 84th minute Martin Firoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juozas Zelmikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ares FC -MM- defense, Justinas Paliūnas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jo Ares. The Ares FC -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jo Ares should have stopped the shot. After 87 minutes, Rupertas Laurinavičius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geležinis Vilkas and the Ares FC -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Anton Hurezan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ares FC -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-9. If Anton Hurezan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juozas Zelmikas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Chihaia in the 96th minute of play. Ares FC -MM-'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
